Tenacity of Bolton is a new venture by Bolton School which is managed by Patterdale Hall.
This project was started in 1998 as plans were formulated to celebrate the new millennium. Over the next nine years work went on by the students within the Boys' Division during their technology lessons to gradually build the boat. 2007 saw the completion of phase one of this bold project as the hull was lifted from Bolton School and transported by low loader to Glasson Basin Marina, Lancaster.
Tenacity of Bolton is a 60 foot ferro cement ketch built to pass MCA Coding standards. She is coded to take 10 crew and her 2 professional crew.
